OVERVIEW

 

CHANGE is an experience both personal and organizational, which is not conducted following a certain script or according to predetermined rules. Given the fact that change management continues to deliver the desired results, one can notice an increasingly larger need of turning this process into a self-statutory discipline, as it has started to gain more and more ground and credibility on the current business markets.

Thus, during the second edition of SHIFT. Change Management Conference, we will focus not only on the simple understanding of the values proposed by the process of change management, but on the recognizing of the need for change management as a core competence, both at the individual and the organization level.

  • THE REAL CHANGE HEROES. Change: from novelty to necessity. Smart leadership and methods of managing emerging tensions within organizations, whilst motivating and mobilizing teams to embrace change
  • LOST IN TRANSLATION. “Translating” change for all those involved in this process. How can we make sure we are properly understood? What are the factors that accelerate change adoption?
  • NOTHING CHANGES IF NOTHING CHANGES. When does one realize he is in a static, change-resilient environment? What are the solutions in this case?
  • A CULTURE OF TRUST. “Negotiated” change. The importance of trust and ongoing collaboration with the people involved in the change management process
  • LEADERS NEED TO LISTEN. The increasing need for continuous communication and feedback assimilation
  • GROWING FURTHER AND FASTER. Novelty as a driver for growth and alignment with the skills required by the volatile business environment

  • CHANGE MATURITY & CAPABILITY. Change complexity and its management limits and barriers. What is the current capacity of an organization to absorb change?
  • REINVENTING THE WHEEL. Permanent capacities for change adaption. Agility as the ability to simultaneously juggle with multiple transformations
  • NO STRUGGLE, NO PROGRESS. What external pressures are coming from the economic environment and how can one adapt the organizational dynamics and priorities in order to be ahead of the competition?
  • INNOVATION OR REGULATION? How can we stimulate innovation in business environments that are increasingly regulated more strictly? Directing the company towards perpetual innovation and change
  • DIGITAL TSUNAMI. Fresh technological mutations. How does this change the way we interact with nowadays consumers or the way we deliver the products and services?
  • THE HUMAN SIDE OF CHANGE. Leadership’s role in fostering emotional intelligence. Its importance in the successful integration of change: behavioral changes, constant feedback and strategic engagement
